Welcome to #AsthmaMay 2024!

  • Most of the 455,000 yearly asthma-related deaths occur in low and middle-income countries, where asthma is under-diagnosed and under-treated. 1
  • GAAPP provides a platform to amplify the voice of the people living without proper access to asthma care

Join us for #WorldAsthmaDay as we support this year’s theme: “Asthma Education Matters,” presented by GINA. GAAPP has crafted an educational campaign with three key components:

  1. Discover Personal Stories: Watch impactful testimonials from individuals with asthma living of the globe. Gain insights into their experiences with diagnosis, treatment, and managing day-to-day life with asthma. Our theme: “Educate on others’ journeys.”
  2. Test Your Knowledge: Take our short, interactive quiz to check your understanding of asthma! “Educate by testing your knowledge about Asthma”
  3. Access Resources: Explore our libraries featuring valuable asthma resources curated by GAAPP and our member organizations. Have resources to contribute? We welcome your submissions! “Educate through our members resources”
