New #GAAPP Co-authored Publication
“Recommendations for asthma monitoring in children: A PeARL document endorsed by APAPARI, EAACI, INTERASMA, REG, and WAO”.
Following an approach that included needs assessment, evidence appraisal, and Delphi consensus, the PeARL Think Tank, in collaboration with major international professional and patient organizations, has developed a set of 24 recommendations on pediatric asthma monitoring, to support healthcare professionals in decision-making and care pathway design.

GAAPP CEO Tonya Winders is a co-author on a collaborative project poster “Development of the Pediatric Asthma Impairment and Risk Questionnaire (AIRQ®): A Qualitative Study” that will be presented on Tuesday at Session C31.
Professor Helen Reddel, a member of the CAAT Governance Board will be presenting data on the CAAT validation in COPD and Asthma in the Novelty study on Monday 20 May mini symposium session B93 in room 6C-F.
The CAAT website has been updated with a new video for healthcare providers speaking to evidence in asthma and COPD. GAAPP will be sharing an educational CAAT postcard at different conferences and at our annual meetings this year. For more information, click here.

The GAAPP growing Research team has been involved in multiple exciting collaborative projects and international conferences this month and are working on abstracts for the European Respiratory Society Conference and APFED’s annual patient education conference.
I am also delighted to announce the launch of our Research website tab that includes webpages on our mission, vision, and capabilities supporting our member organizations and collaborators.
