Pharmacists are a valuable member of the physician-led collaborative care team. A survey of pharmacists conducted by the Allergy & Asthma Network showed that pharmacists can provide valuable patient education on the proper technique and action of inhaled asthma medications within the framework of the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (NAEPP).
