Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia (Australia)

A&AA’s vision focuses on improving the quality of life of all Australians living with allergic diseases. Increased community awareness, patient education, and support are critical to improving health and wellbeing. A&AA is the only established and recognized national patient advocate driving the mission of listening, guiding, and educating Australians living with all allergic disease(s). A&AA has health educators trained in allergic disease responding to requests for help to our free national support line (which provides assistance across multiple channels – telephone, email, private messages). A&AA works closely with peak medical bodies including the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA). A&AA is a proud founding partner (alongside ASCIA) in co-chairing the National Allergy Strategy (“NAS”). As at 29 November 2021, A&AA has 7,607 members/subscribers and over 62,000 social media followers. The subscriber base is representative of the general population spread accordingly in every state and territory of Australia.
