Season greetings! It is hard to believe we have come to the end of 2023–a year filled with many highs and lows. As you enter this time of celebration, I pray for peace and joy throughout this season. I hope you see the Christmas sparkle in a child’s eyes and feel the warmth of a friend’s embrace.

Thank you to all who completed calls with Špela and shared ways GAAPP can help moving forward. One way we are here to help is developing and implementing policies, learn more below. Also, in this newsletter is a last chance to give your feedback on our pharma partners by completing the PatientView survey. Finally, stay tuned for more paid research and advocacy opportunities in January. Don’t miss our monthly research newsletter!

GAAPP News & Opportunities

Do you need help drafting and implementing your policies?

At GAAPP, we know the importance of publically available policies. Having adequately written and implemented policies helps reduce risks associated with institutional management, allows us to comply with existing laws and regulations, and simplifies our work with our partners, funders, and donors. Most importantly, some policies, like the anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies, will require you to work on multistakeholder-funded projects involving recruiting or research.

As NGOs are also institutions, we must maintain standard practices and procedures and ensure they are accessible to everyone.

Have a look at GAAPP policies. If you want us to help you draft and implement your policies, please don’t hesitate to contact us, and we will be happy to help you.

Note: We can also help you obtain the training materials for human information safety and other required training that you, your staff, and volunteers may need to take to work on research projects.

PatienView Study: The Corporate Reputation of Pharma 2023/22024

This independent study by PatientView looks at the corporate reputation of the pharmaceutical industry (and that of 41 pharmaceutical companies) during 2023.

You will be entitled to a free copy of the full results upon publication (April 2024), if you wish to receive them. The survey is available in a multitude of langauges.
