2nd LATAM 2020 Virtual Summit of Respiratory Patients
The effects of COVID-19 make it necessary to empower patients and healthcare professionals around the world.
In response to this challenge, the Lovexair Foundation, in collaboration with GAAPP, organized the 2nd LATAM 2020 Virtual Summit of Respiratory Patients, a series of free sessions and workshops, open to the community, which took place on the 6th, 7th and 8th of December 2020. These annual meetings aim to provide tools and new perspectives to improve training and management in respiratory health in this new context. These meetings were conducted in Spanish and for the first time there were held selected key sessions in Brazilian Portuguese. The 2nd Summit was an opportunity to unify the voices of patients from Latin American countries and work together for their rights, access to treatment and improved care.
Participating countries: Argentina – Brazil – Colombia – Chile – Spain – United States of America – Mexico – Panama – Uruguay – Venezuela
