• Most of the 455.000 yearly asthma-related deaths occur in low and middle-income countries, where asthma is under-diagnosed and under-treated. ¹
• GAAPP wants to provide a platform to amplify the voice of the people living without proper access to asthma care.

World Lung Day is 25 September 2022! GAAPP has launched the “Asthma Care Access: The Voice of the Uncared”, a short documentary with testimonials from patients and health care professionals from 4 African countries, 2 Latin American countries, and India about the challenges of getting your asthma cared for, monitored or controlled in the less privileged regions of the world.

GAAPP has partnered with several of our member organizations to produce this video that is accompanied by separate testimonials in Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok format so we can spread their voices farther and wider to achieve the change the patients in their countries need and deserve.
