Join us for #WorldLungDay in sharing “The Global State of COPD”, created by the “Speak Up for COPD” coalition to drive change to tackle the global lung health crisis, and the “Lung Health for Life” Reports that was created to educate on improving care for people living with chronic respiratory diseases.
This report were developed to shed light on current responses to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) around the world, and highlight key opportunities for policy action and system change by showcasing promising initiatives that are already taking place. It is based on desk research and interviews with 26 national clinical and patient experts, with a particular focus on 10 countries: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Malaysia, Nigeria, Poland, Saudi Arabia, and the UK.
This report identifies four major areas of focus within which tangible steps must be taken to help realise this approach.
These are: primary prevention and population health; proactive detection and early diagnosis; improved access to high-quality care; and the need for strategic and supportive policies. The measures outlined within each of these areas will ensure that the burden of CRDs can be tackled today and in the future.
A 200€ grant is offered to help us promote these resources from 17 September to 17 October 2024. On this occasion and given that the report it´s only in English, the assets are only available in English too.
