Also, don’t waste any time registering for our 2023 Scientific Meeting and Annual General Meeting in Hamburg, Germany in early June.
Finally, mark your calendars for this month’s GAAPP Academy and join me in welcoming our new members from Nigeria and Togo. We are quickly approaching 100 organizations and remain so grateful to each of you for your commitment to serve while advancing care for the close to one billion people living with atopic and airways diseases!
All my best,

GAAPP has launched the communication grant for World Asthma Day 2023. The theme this year will continue and build upon our previous campaign Asthma Care Access: The Voice of the Uncared. We continue to align with GINA’s 2023 theme: Asthma Care for All.
We encourage you to promote our testimonials from patients, health care professionals, and TV personalities from Brazil, France, Gambia, India and Peru. All the testimonials are in their native languages (Portuguese, French, English, Hindi and Spanish) with English subtitles, so you can choose which one fits your audience better.
A 200€ grant is offered to help us promote these resources all through May 2023.

The second ICAN Meeting will held in Milan, Italy, on 9 September 2023, in conjunction with the ERS Congress. The ICAN meeting was created to promote innovation and strengthen international collaborations on asthma in general, with a focus on severe asthma, and the currently unmet need in the space beyond well-described T2 pathways and treatments. We invite early career investigators to submit abstracts on severe and exacerbation prone asthma, especially when unresponsive to current therapies.
